"Now I lay me down to sleep."

It's good to be your own best audience.
here's my offering.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my sole to keep.
I caught her in the briny deep
And wish I'd brought my freezer.
It makes a jolly little song when sung to the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy.
I like your's better, but this is the one that drifted into my cortex head this morning:
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
If I should die before I wake?
Don't you touch my Chocolate Cake.
I'm going to go learn to play Yankee Doodle Dandy right now.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord its all just fake
